This policy explains how Livdomo collects, uses, and protects your personal information, including data associated with SMS communications and other services. It should be read together with our SMS Policy and Terms and Conditions.

At Domo, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information that we collect and process. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal data when you use our property management services, whether through our mobile app or online platform. This policy applies to all users located in California, as Domo exclusively services California residents.

2. Personal Data We Collect

2.1 Data Collected

Phone Numbers and Consent Data:

  • We collect phone numbers from users who provide their consent to receive SMS notifications. When consent is requested, we obtain it before collecting or using phone numbers for messaging. We use both Intercom and Twilio as providers for consent and notification delivery.
  • We do not collect any additional personal identifiers or user preferences in connection with SMS messaging.

2.2 Other Data Collected Through Third-Party APIs

Technical Requests and Platform Integration:

  • Our mobile and online platforms may interact with third-party APIs for various technical requests (e.g., geolocation services, payment processing, and user authentication). The data collected and processed by these third parties is subject to their respective privacy policies and terms/conditions.
3. How and Why We Use Your Personal Data

3.1 Purpose of Collection

SMS Messaging:

  • The phone numbers and consent data we collect are used solely to send property management-related notifications. This includes alerts regarding account status, upcoming service requests, building maintenance, and other relevant updates.

3.2 Frequency of SMS Messaging

SMS message frequency varies based on your lease status, application activity, and property-related events. You may receive more messages during active application, move-in, or maintenance periods, and fewer at other times. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.

3.3 Internal Use of Data

Access to SMS data is limited to the Domo property management team. This data is used to fulfill service requests and respond to customer service inquiries.

4. Sharing Your Personal Data

4.1 Internal Sharing

Property Management Team: Only the property management team at Domo has access to SMS data for the purposes of managing and fulfilling service requests.

4.2 Third-Party Sharing

We will not sell, share, or rent your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in information, or related consent data to any third party for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in information is excluded from any data sharing with third parties.

Service providers: SMS data is processed on our behalf by service providers who act as data processors and are contractually bound to use the data only to deliver the SMS notifications described in this policy. This includes our messaging infrastructure (e.g., Twilio) and our communication platform (e.g., Intercom). These providers do not use your phone number for their own marketing.

Third-Party APIs: Our platforms utilize third-party APIs for specific technical functionalities unrelated to SMS messaging. Any non-SMS data collected and processed through these APIs is governed by the privacy policies and terms of those third-party providers. Domo is not responsible for the privacy practices of these external providers.

5. Retention of Your Personal Data

We retain your phone numbers and consent data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy and to comply with legal obligations. Once the data is no longer needed, it will be securely deleted or anonymized.

6. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

6.1 Opting Out of SMS Notifications

Users may opt out of receiving SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP to any message. You may also contact Domo at support@livdomo.com. For help, reply HELP to any message. Please note that opting out may limit your access to important updates related to your property management account.

7. Children's Privacy

Domo services and platforms are not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 16. If we become aware that we have collected such data without parental consent, we will promptly delete it.

8. Security of Your Personal Data

Domo is committed to protecting your personal data and employs appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure your information. For more details on our security practices, please visit our Security page on the Domo platform.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we make changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy and provide notice as required by law.
